Tattoos, Tattoo Supplies And Living Life To The Max

Posted by on Friday, 17 February, 2012

Article by Dominic Donaldson

If you are not moving forward in life then you are moving backwards. Life is a journey, an experience, not one of us is perfect, and not one of us goes through life without making mistakes. With that in mind we could all do with being a bit more outgoing, a bit more adventurous and a bit more daring. Sometimes little changes can make life changing revelations in your life that will have long term effects.

Well for myself I decided that 2010 was a year when I would continue to develop rather than stay in the old rut and continue to slip backwards. I made a list of all of the things that I wanted to achieve in 2010, some personal, some work related and created an action plan on a piece of paper.

One of those actions was simply to get a tattoo performed on a particular part of my body. In 2010 I would be celebrating a notable birthday and to celebrate that my journey had took me to this point I thought it would be poignant to mark it with a tattoo.

After speaking to some friends who performed tattoos or had tattoos themselves, we started to work on a design that would be fitting and work out the tattoo supplies that we would need to perform the task. I was staggered at how much preparation had to go into ensuring that we had the appropriate tattoo supplies in stock, I had always just assumed rather stupidly that it was just ink and needles. How wrong I was.

I must admit as we continued to order the various different tattoo supplies from the store online it all started to become increasing real. This was to be my first tattoo and I had obviously heard all of the horror stories from friends who generally had never even been near a tattoo shop in their lives, but I was reassured from my friend who would be performing the tattoo that they were ordering quality authorised tattoo supplies and I had nothing to fear, it would merely be like scratching yourself repeatedly.

A week passed as we waited for the tattoo supplies to arrive and then the moment of truth was upon me, my friends finally got the chance to butcher my body as they said jokingly with a smile. To be honest the tattoo was certainly not as bad as it was made out to be by my negative friends. I think there in itself is a lesson in life, don’t take other people’s word for something go out and experience it yourself then make your own mind up.

Tattoo Care: Tattoo Removal Utah

Posted by on Thursday, 16 February, 2012

Article by Matty Mathias

If you are looking to have laser tattoo removal performed on a tattoo that you no longer want, it is important to keep a few things in mind. Furthermore, if you are located in the state of Utah, there are many technologies that can either permanently diminish or remove your tattoo altogether. Tattoo removal in Utah is growing in popularity and there are a few things you may be interested in regarding current technology and success rates.

Tattoo Removal Utah: With modern technology, tattoo removal has become much more effective than it ever has. Formerly, a tattoo was indisputably a permanent fixture and now, with modern medical lasers, tattoos can be removed or drastically diminished. Depending on the color of the tattoo, the results can certainly vary. Red and orange inks are easier to break down with the high-frequency light of the lasers. Green and blue-black inks can be tougher to break down and so the immune system may not be able to rid the skin of the ink as well.

Tattoo Removal Utah: Upon arriving at a tattoo removal clinic, a specialist may or may not charge an initial consultation fee. If a fee is assessed, some offices will apply the fee to the first treatment. The consultation will allow the tattoo removal specialist to view your tattoo, its size, colors used, and the type of skin you have. Depending on these factors, a treatment plan can be assessed and costs can be discussed. The total time and cost related to treatments can vary over time as the specialist is able to monitor the progress of the removal.

Tattoo Removal Utah: The care of the skin is very important after treatments since the high-frequency light that breaks down the ink of the tattoo is very powerful and can affect the skin just like a sun burn. Following care guidelines given to you by the tattoo removal specialist is very important if the skin is to heal properly and the tattoo is to be removed or permanently lightened. Since the laser being used is powerful enough to break down the ink within the skin, it is powerful enough to scar and damage the skin of the tattoo site if proper care measures are not implemented and followed exactly.

Tattoo Removal Utah: Tattoo removal clinics can be found all over the state of Utah and offer various lasers which can work for different skin types and tattoo types. It is a great idea to seek out tattoo clinics in Utah which offer different types of lasers so that your tattoo needs can be addressed for its proper and thorough removal. Tattoo removal is at its most advanced level now and with laser tattoo removal, you can be sure that you are receiving the best possible care for your skin. It is vital to look for a tattoo removal clinic in Utah that is the best fit for your specific tattoo type and to familiarize yourself with the type of laser necessary to remove your tattoo.

Finding more information on the success of tattoo removal Utah and to find a laser tattoo removal clinic in Utah is just a click away.

17 Year Old TB Gelding PRICE REDUCED!!!

Nastic’s Whirl, better known as Red, is a super sweet, 17yr old, 16.2 hand registered thoroughbred gelding! He is a big chestnut but an easy going, smooth ridding, and great guy around kids! He has been ridden and shown in 4-H by a ten year old girl in the past and was a lessons horse for the previous owners. I also showed him in 4-H a few years ago and he was excellent! Red also does well with men. Red works very well in the arena, and loves to be with other horses. He likes trail ridding and was used as a packer for a time. However, like most horses, Red likes to be with another horse on the trail, but he will go alone if you want him too. He has done english, western, trails, 4-H, 4-H shows, dressage, jumping, showmanship, lessons, clinics, and a little pony club. He loves to jump, has good movement, and yields well to leg pressure. Red is a great all round horse! He takes a saddle and bit wonderfully and will stand still and relaxed for mounting, waiting for a cue to move on.

Tattoos, Tattoo Supplies And The New Millennium

Posted by on Sunday, 5 February, 2012

Article by Dominic Donaldson

You may not realise it, but we are currently living in the second decade of this new millennium. For those of you who knew that congratulations, for those of you who didn’t know that, wake up and pour yourself a coffee. People are always thinking up ways in which they can celebrate the dawning of a new year or new era and one of the most popular ways that people pick is to get some form of body modification done to their body, whether it is body piercing or tattooing something on to their body.

I had already done the prior thing when I was younger, so for 2010 I decided that I would do the later, and because I was also experiencing a landmark birthday. I contacted a number of friends to see if they knew of a reliable tattoo artist who could perform the work. A lot of them recommended me to various websites, but unfortunately when I visited the sites all I could see was a mountain of tattoo supplies and accessories, things that you might need during or after the tattoo had taken place, you know tattoo supplies like cream or gauze to bandage up the scar afterwards.

Eventually I did manage to find a tattoo artist with a good website that enabled me to view some of their previous work. After I had decided on the artist it was time to meet up and discuss what I wanted to achieve out of the tattoo session, I described the design I wanted to have and also where on the body, I was reassured that it wouldn’t be too painful. We arrange to meet again in a week so the artist could work on the design and also order in whatever tattoo supplies that might be needed.

Although I was sure that not too many tattoo supplies would be needed for my little tattoo I knew all too well about the amount of different products that existed on the market. When I arrived the following week I got to see the design, which wasn’t too complicated and after declaring myself happy with it, we scheduled an appointment for the following day when the tattoo would actually be performed. Despite pre-tattoo nerves it seemed to pass off without a hitch, all the necessary tattoo supplies were there and I needn’t have worried about the pain, it was exactly as described like scratching on the surface of the skin. The only thing I need to watch out for now is to make sure that I don’t get the tattoo bug and go back for several more.
